Ted Cruz Vs. Oprah: Still Missing the Point

Ted Cruz jumped in on twitter to comment on the statement Oprah made on her Apple+ show ‘The Oprah conversations’. He commented; “What utter, racist BS”, retweeting her quote. Let me tell you how him and anyone who thinks this way are wrong.
So, Oprah is racist for pointing out white privilege. That is a bunch of hogwash and gasoline attempting to start a fire. That right there in of itself is more telling about Mr. Ted Cruz(R), who has the audacity to say she is racist for speaking for the minorities in in this country. Her statements and efforts are to point out the major issue on the grand stage. She is not speaking of privilege as a monetary position but as one that includes the currency of racial classification and appearance. Money does not preclude race on the grand stage. Race plays a huge part in the immunities you are granted due to whiteness, it is evident in the treatment at your corporate job, in the community, at church, the grocery store, taking a walk, going for a jog, or wearing a hooded sweatshirt carrying a bag of Skittles. Currency is more than dollars and peanuts; it is skin in a society that based you value on the idea of its appearance and how you are expected to contribute and operate, based on how white you are. Privileges are interconnected and is at the core of the American and Euro Centric idea of what is a whiteness supreme self-belief. It has built itself into the core of our function as a society here in America. Its existence is predicated upon the everyone else is other and not worthy of freedom, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. It has enforced itself by stripping happiness away from anyone dark skinned and breathing. From the subtle to the not so subtle approach, while breathing down the neck of the Black community with ferocity of a tiger chasing its prey.

Without rehearse it can come across from Orpah and other wealthy blacks who has made fortunes in America, that they are somehow racist now that they have wealth and are not suited to comment on the subject. Anyone who thinks that is so is sitting on white privilege. Along with blinders you are running a race that only suits your goals. You could care less about the pain and suffering about the black community and you are only reading this to fight it vs. getting some takeaways to create a better more unified community in which you stem.
What their wealth proves
Their fortunes are the evidence, along with the white brothers and sisters outside in the streets of America protesting proves that all whites are not racist. However, what she is pointing out are the policy makers, the law enforcement leadership that turn a blind eye to the atrocities in the legal system, and private companies that only fill affirmative action quotas with no real intent to include black and brown people in the leadership structure no matter how much they can contribute in a positive and profitable way. She does not need to say all of it. I am! Now you have it.
What Orpah's wealth does not change
Instead of asking for clarification. The so-called leadership is quick to point out her observations and experience and write her off due to her wealth. So, Mr. Cruz please explain Rosewood and Tulsa! These were wealthy blacks that were destroyed because of race in a time no one was held accountable for the murder and annihilation of a town of peoples here in the US. Please explain stop and frisk? Please explain killing an unarmed man and getting off? Explain lynching's then and now? Treyvonne Martin (lynched), George Floyd’s (lynched), Tamir Rice (Lynched), Emitt Till (lynched) and so many others. The privilege of calling the police officers on a bird watcher because you know you can get away with the moral crime. Explain that! Attack those atrocities not Oprah.
Ask the devil back for your soul and have a heart. Open your eyes. You work for the people. Or is it that you only work for the people that look like you or more importantly you want to look like? Mr. Cruz shame on you for jumping in the ring with skates on to box. It breaks my heart to watch my country play games with reality using its thumbs to make an uninformed point. Aren’t we done with the lies yet? The redirection and gas lighting? When will it end? So, you are willing to turn the country upside down and inside out for a vote?
America can be greater! The current route being taken is not the road to take. As America is diverse, eclectic, and powerful it is also hurting because it chose to undermine those same factors. It is as it has one purpose and that is to consume itself. We are marching our own Trojan horse into our own gates.
Has it ever occurred to anyone over in that right-wing bubble, that American life has been diverse since its inception as a country? While the colonies were being formed and functioned on the blood of free labor, while kicking out and/or murdering its original inhabitants (Native Americans)? As a Christian nation is it not time to repent? An apology and actions to back up said apology is in order. Every protest is about it. Nothing less!
Good white people are tired of having to live in a world where they watch the unnecessary slaughter and subjugation of black Men, Woman, and Children. The violent language towards Aboriginal Spanish speaking people of the Americas, the silencing of Natives on this side of the boarder. It is just too much to carry. It is also a waste of energy.
While humanity is waring amongst persons, earth is feeling the heat. Not to digress but Humanity has bigger issues we need to put our collective energy towards. As a first world nation we are one of the key players in changing global impact habits. We can set a new standard, but somehow refuse to reverse course. Well if Covid-19 has proven anything, nature does not care about commerce, politics, race or whether you believe it exist. It is happening without your acceptance.
Wake up. Get out of your slumber for power and realize that white privilege is an interconnected idea that is woven into the supremacy structure. Do not hit the snooze button. Listen to those who are watching from the peanut Gallery (Racist Epithet). African Americans and blacks of all walks can see the entire stage from their seat in mezzanine. In your neck breaking seat, you can either look center, left or right but you are missing something in the entire presentation of life in America, and frankly globally.
American exceptionalism is growing to a point of self-destruction. We are an injured player running a play that has already been figured out. It a losing game unless we change the playbook. And run a different route we will miss the winning ball of the future.
Oprah, Kaepernick, Labron, and whoever you choose to attack that are well off. Guess what? They are also well informed because they live it. Their money did not remove racist, it just allowed them to drive a Bentley to their dehumanizing ceremony. Here and abroad based on euro Centric ideas if race African descendants face unnecessary scrutiny and utter disrespect. So, to all of you stop listening to respond and listen to learn if you really care about integrity or simply keep quiet.
