The President Fiddled While America Burned.

Many Republican politicians and voters are at odds with progress. The problem for them is their perceived position in the social fabric. A position in their own self constructed hierarchy has been tested against truth. The truth that is so daunting their decision-making skills or lack thereof is revealed to the masses. Their rage is based on lies and hyperbolic language with the clear intention to enrage followers. They are unstable and unregulated. As it is now evident, their primary contribution to American society is ill will and resentment.
From rigging pickup trucks and boats to fly Trump flags, the yellow Gadsden flag, confederate flag, swastikas, thin blue/red line flags, 3%(III) symbols, and bumper stickers with (insert ignorant abhorrent phrase) for the past 12 years (since President Obama took office), Betsy ross, alongside the American flag. We have seen a slow uprising with the help of Fox News opinion panels, Breibart, info wars, rush Limbaugh and every pandering to the far right, posterchild that has a media outlet stir this gumbo, simmering it slowly until it boiled over on January 7th, 2021.
I hold all of them responsible. The so-called patriot who carries treasonous flags onto the capital grounds to parade around like they are fighting for America. They are not who they say they are. They are fighting for their idea of whiteness. The symbols that accompany them speak volumes. While they are shouting, they are true patriots their actions are saying completely the opposite. These men and women don’t love America, they love whiteness. If they loved America this would not have happened. Insurrection backed by the poster boy himself.
From Charlottesville to now, what we have seen is white rage given a pass on every occasion. From the debates during the recent presidential campaigning when Mr. TRUMP WAS ASKED TO CONDEM…WHITE SUPREMACIST. He told them to “stand back and stand by". Why are we acting as if the storming of the capital is a surprise? My biggest concern is that it is the beginning. These people are vigilant in their mission to tear apart America as we have come to know it. Guess who gave them a get out of jail free card? Mr. Monopoly himself. They can pass go and collect the soul of the American future. These people are home grown terrorist. If they were brown the media would have labeled them as such. So, let’s close our eyes, focus on the actions, and drop the skin color. Do you see the terrorism that took place yet?
Nero Fiddled while Rome burned. In this case Donald Trump and his supporters brought the matches. From the moment the Tiki torches entered Charlottesville. President Trump could have put out the fire THEN. However, he condoned it with his subliminal messaging to his base. He did not denounce it outright. He gave them a mild reprimand while supporting their agenda. January 7th was in the making. It was the culmination of every tweeted lie, every right-wing blog that existed with the singular focus to create this false narrative of white lives are in jeopardy, AMERICA is at war with immigrants, blacks, and any one on the left.
It is the pro white extremist who are putting white lives in jeopardy. This is white on white crime in its most evasive form. Attack the progress, to regress to old norms that did not work for the greater good. These norms only work for greed. Supremacy is a greed based ideal. It is designed to subject the other to ill will, hatred, and sever subjugation to do the bidding of the system rigger. The idea of white supremacist is just that, an idea. It does not truly exist. It is an idea backed by guns and shifty paperwork. Supported by the victims of the idea who benefit in believing in it and allowing it to manifest itself as a Truth. All lies attempt to manifest themselves as truths, only to be found out to be lies by hard evidence that prove otherwise, based on inconsistencies that it tries to gloss over.
A Supreme being has nothing to prove. Nothing to gain or lose. If your entire ideal is based on proving your supreme you are working to hard to fabricate your existence. Clock ticks on you just the same.
Between the news, white evangelicals, and the right-wing politicians in bed with them; we have seen them slowly insulate themselves from reality. The reality that humanity as diverse as it is having one basic need and that is peace of mind and the pursuits of happiness. The white supreme as a Mindset does not want those ideals to benefit non-whites. This is a war against diversity and universal opportunity. Based on Creating laws and disenfranchised people against God’s true creation. All that is of earth is of God and from God and is with God.
Break it down. The planet has everyone on it and always has. It is greed that creates the imbalance. The paradox is built into the idea that one Kline(race), is to benefit while another suffers. If it is not race its class, or geography. It is not necessary.
Those who believe that is are too lazy to see that they are already here. That they can make a way for themselves. With the beauty of our democracy and capitalism, with a bit of risk and ingenuity you too can grow. However, laziness sets in. Slaves are brought over and not paid. They are raped, murdered, and mind wiped until they are a shell of themselves. Guess who truly Got mind wiped. The benefactors did. They sat around sipping tea while the skills of the slaves were manifesting their wealth. Fast forward to now, and it still holds true. While many go to college for an easy passing grade and a degree. They fail to apply themselves and come out with usable skills. Now they live in fear of the immigrants who take it seriously and come out an innovate. Although a minority it only takes a few to ruffle feathers and a movement is born based on overblown ideas. Instead of their rich parent paying for them to attend top schools, they should pull themselves up and work for it. They don’t like the sound of that. Hence the need to cause an interaction. For this type of human violence has always been the answer. They are playing checkers not chess. However, their violence is designed to make you think that they are playing chess. It is the Gun as Nas famously painted the picture on is ode to street life “I gave you power". Why do you think is one of their primary talking points? Why do you think they wave blue live matter flags? I’ll give you a hint, they know that police officers will do their dirty work. One less black man is one more opportunity in their eyes to get the job, get the girl, and to keep their community white.
Where do we or can we go from here? I don’t know for sure. However, what I do know is that this problem is not going to go away when trump leaves office. The problem is why he was voted in in the first place. The power of the vote only needs someone to push the agenda. Trump supplied the platform for that agenda, and it has fulfilled itself in many ways. It has socially illiterates running the printing press, while the demographically illiterate soak it up and thrive on it. They have made it their life mission to upend the United States. From the talks of secession every time they don’t get their way. You can’t be a patriot who wants to take a state away from the union. No matter how they spin it; it unpatriotic.
Those who promote this kind of thinking are not patriots. Frankly, they have succeeded at making the word a euphemism for how much of a racist they are. As soon as you hear talks about breaking off here comes the flags and the pseudo patriotic rhetoric, accompanied by confederate flags and Nazi symbolism. They are not fooling anyone, but those who prescribe to this line of thinking. In contradiction I don’t Think they are fooled but are very sure about what they are doing. There is passion and I’ll intent in their actions. This is a white supremacy movement dressed up in pseudo patriotic circles on and off the internet.
The trump name will historically go down as a true enabler, supporter, and hosting leader of this insurrection. However, he is not its creator. How it's a benefactor with a platform. He has become the poster boy for the second coming of the furor. He did it with hyperbole that parrots what was already being said. That is how the movement gained its confidence. That is how they feel empowered. That is why they must be stopped. They are the Trojan horse that can destroy our nation as it is. They have proven they are willing to no matter what…
Man, I used to be his biggest fan before he decided to go down this political road. I even stood online for The Apprentice before it was about celebrities. I wanted an opportunity to work with him. Generations of my household looked up to him. We stayed at his hotels, purchased his ties from Macy’s, and even played the board game. Now it’s just a memory of deep disappointment. Sincerely It hurts to see the facade crumble. Only to find out even then we were not paying attention to who he has always been. From not letting wealthy African Americans purchased apartments in his building to his racist line of thinking about “the black” in America. This is not new we were not paying attention.
Are we paying attention now? This is America and we have much to repair. It starts with honest conversations and holding media accountable. Specifically, the news. Those who claim to be fair and balance are crooked and tilted towards their racial agenda. Education in schools should enforce the same opportunities in every schoolhouse in America for their day on, the history books should tell the truth about American life and the rest of the world and stop with the creation of these pseudo patriots who are nothing more Thant the brainwashed babies of the daughters of the south. For the church to be honest with its part in all of this. From the Catholics to the Protestant SBC, and all others who fall in line to implant racial division as part of Jesus.
Enablers and race batters. Pro-lifers who don’t care for all life. Prolife is a political tool and it always has been. I believe in allowing conception to birth, I just don’t believe pro-lifers. They show their true colors on their bumper stickers, and their tone deafness to murder at the hands of rogue law enforcement. Evangelicals put whiteness first, then their wallets, and they use God as their political poster child. Their faith is vain at best.
America is been burning from within. America is marching its own Trojan horse in and it is coming in by way of Fox news and the right-wing blogs, podcast aopinion outlets. These outlets refuse to hear the issues from all the American people. These groups have decided to focus on a select group that keep their lights on. To stop the propaganda, we need to hold corporations accountable who promote and advertise their products and services on these outlets. These people will continue until it hits them in the wallets.
